Cory Mose

Meet Sports Reporter and Anchor Cory Mose.

AUSTIN, Texas — Cory Mose grew up in Houston, Texas, with three older sisters. he joined the KVUE team in July of 2022.

Cory graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with two bachelor's degrees in broadcasting and journalism.

While in college, he joined Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. and led a Christian ministry called Campus Outreach.

Cory joins our Austin team after spending 2.5 years in Midland-Odessa with our sister station NewsWest9. In West Texas, he led the sports team where they covered high school football including Permian High, a school featured in the movie "Friday Night Lights." While in the Permian Basin, he also reported on the Minor League Baseball team, the Midland RockHounds.

While in college, Cory interned at sports radio 1310 The Ticket, the Goodyear Cotton Bowl and Fox Sports Southwest.

In his free time, Cory loves to relax and listen to music, try new food spots and do some retail therapy. His favorite sports teams are the Los Angeles Lakers, the Houston Texans and the Houston Astros.

Cory is extremely excited about joining the historic community and sports region of Central Texas. He can’t wait to bring a new style to Austin. If you see Cory out and about around town, don't be too shy to say hi!
