AUSTIN, Texas — Bryan is a 9-year-old boy in the Texas foster care system who is currently in search of his forever family. KVUE's Hannah Rucker met up with him at Pinballz in Buda for a day of arcade games.
Bryan isn't sure exactly how long he has been in foster care but said, "All I know is I've been there for like, a long time."
He currently lives in a group home with other children in foster care but said he doesn't really like it.
"It's because usually at the place I'm at, I don't have a lot of people to play with. Because a lot of them are too focused watching TV," Bryan said.

He said he wants his forever family to be playful, affectionate towards him and he would love to visit different parks and restaurants.
"I have a gift card to Chick-fil-A and McDonald's, and I haven't been able to use them," Bryan said.
Bryan loves going to school because he said his teacher is very nice to him. He also enjoys learning about the weather on the computer.
"We create these videos on our computers at school learning about natural disasters. And I don't know why, but I just love it," Bryan said.

KVUE launched the Forever Families segment with Partnerships for Children (PFC) in June 2020 to highlight children in the Heart Gallery of Central Texas who need secure and permanent families. Every day, there are nearly 1,000 children waiting to get adopted in Central Texas, according to PFC.
