Manor Police Department asking for public's help in arson investigation

A suspect allegedly started a fire Sunday night inside a Walmart gas station, according to law enforcement officials.

MANOR, Texas — The Manor Police Department is asking for the public's help in gathering information about a potential arson. 

According to a post from the department's Facebook page, a suspect reportedly started a fire Sunday night inside a Walmart gas station, located off U.S. Highway 290.

The suspect allegedly entered a bathroom inside the building and lit an undisclosed item on fire before fleeing the area.  

The Manor Police Department is currently working alongside Travis County Emergency Services District 12 to investigate. 

The restroom remained closed Sunday night and, as of Monday morning, it is unknown whether the suspect is in custody.
